This is a durable, good quality water bottle. I bought it 5 months ago and between several drops, bangs, and dings, it's still holding up. I haven't had any problem with the lid breaking as I've read others have had. There is no residual odor when used for drinks other than water. Other than a few scratches it still looks new. This water bottle helps me keep track of the amount of water I drink during the day and since it holds 32oz it is easy to meet my goal without having to keep refilling it.
