This cap is horrible. The design of the cap allows the little screw cap to bottom out. This starts to shear the top of that little lid of creating a leak. That top of that small lid is now completely worthless rendering my nalgene useless. You are better off buying a camelbak.

Nalgene: All our products are guaranteed for life. If you contact us we will send a replacement. The small cap is a known issue and we have changed the material to prevent it from happening in the future.

The cap needs work- the small cap located on the top can be over tightened and break through causing leakage.
