Great bottle November 11, 2015
Reviewer: Mike from Edwards, IL United States
Bought the bottle a few years ago and loved it. Heavy but the best water bottle I have ever owned. Lid started leaking within a year, but Nalgene does not sell replacement lids for stainless bottles and they even stopped selling the 38 oz bottles until recently. Still use my old leaky bottle and love it, but wish they had replacement lids

great product June 16, 2014
Reviewer: David W from Largo, FL United States
Am ordering a new product so thought I would write a review. Got the bottle about 5 years ago. Use it 2-3 weekends a month. It has been great. Able to carry more water than average bottles. Keeps the water surprisingly cool, even when left in a hot car. Have not had any rust issues. Have accidentally dropped it a few times which dented the botton and caused a small crack in the steel near the top, but not enough to be an issue.

Rust on inside after 6 months January 3, 2012
Reviewer: Grant from Hawaii
I use this bottle as as my EDC water bottle, and clean it by hand regularly.  I was disappointed to open the bottle today for routine maintenance, having not used it in a week, and discovered rust on the inside of the lip.  Not just a single dot or a small speck, but a 2 inch by 1 inch area. Since I only use this to haul water only, I was extremely surprised to see this.  Being 18/10 stainless steel, while I understand there is the possibility of small rust spots developing, I expect more when it is true 18/10.  Sure rust-oxide is supposedly harmless (In WWII, POWs would put powdered rust in their coffee to prevent anemia, right?), but the wife finds it less appetizing knowing it is in the bottle now.

Maybe a quality control issue, maybe a rare fluke, but worth mentioning

He makes a good point... November 29, 2011

Hands down this is the best water bottle out there, but come on Nalgene!  But we've been waiting months and months for this thing!  Please Nalgene, work out your issues with GD and get us this bottle!  Early November?  Its almost December now!  Are we ever going to see this bottle again?  Its just bad customer relations to act this way.  I was told early November as well, and then given a hard date of November 28th.  Its the 29th now and still no bottle.  Thousands of potential customers just keep getting jerked around.

To the other reviewer November 7, 2011

You could have easily shot them an email, I did a couple weeks back and they promptly replied that they would be getting stock sometime in early Nov.

Don't down rate a product based upon your own stupidity.
